Humans have a unique operating system.
Some parts are outdated, including the programming that keeps us addicted to thought and behavior patterns even when they no longer serve us.
Understanding the three lower bodies or “layers” of the human vehicle can be helpful when contemplating all of the Gene Keys, especially the 24th: Shadow of Addiction, Gift of Invention, Siddhi of Silence.
The densest body, the physical body, contains the root of the primal human wound: SEPARATION.
This primal wound is responsible for the fear-based, survival programming that lingers in our cells.
Our bodies are wired to believe we are separate from one another, from nature, from the earth, from the cosmos, and from Source.
The next body, the astral or emotional body, is where our emotions, feelings, and desires stem from.
Driven by the survival programming of the physical body, the emotions and desires of the astral body have a clear purpose: to reconnect us to Source.
The problem is, our desires are distorted by the shadow, which ensures that they perpetuate our addictive thought and behavior patterns, keeping us from reconnecting to Source instead of getting closer to it.
The third body, the mental body, is the home of our mental processes and thinking.
It is a separate consciousness that constructs our reality from our unique frame of perception.
The mental body’s thoughts are fed by the astral body’s emotions and desires, which are driven by the physical body’s survival programming.
The mental body creates meaning and stories, giving a voice to the subconscious primal wound without any recognition that it exists…let alone an understanding that it runs the entire show!
The Shadow of Addiction highlights how humans are programmed for addictive thinking and behavior patterns.
Most of the time, we’re not even aware that we’re in a pattern.
And when we lack awareness, we lack the ability to change gears or break the cycle.
Every cycle contains GAPS.
Periodic pauses.
Space where the cycle can continue…or it can be shifted into another gear.
Birth and death.
The seasons.
Our default reactions to triggers.
There are gaps along each of these cycles.
The key lies in being able to spot the gaps without trying to (a) numb ourselves inside of the discomfort, or (b) distract ourselves by filling the gaps.
But gaps are uncomfy.
They’re unknown. The void. Windows into pure Source consciousness.
And humans are really good at avoiding, numbing, making ourselves busy, distracting, fighting, and trying to fix everything outside of our comfort zones.
This leads us to the Gift of Invention.
When we develop skills like contemplation, we can notice and work with the gaps.
The more we can notice and allow what’s happening in these pauses through our mental body, the more we can examine the nature of our emotions and desires stemming from our astral body.
We receive profound insights that lead to emotional breakthroughs.
This is how we work with the gaps to INVENT new ways of thinking, being, and acting.
This is true originality. It’s spontaneous. It’s the root of our genius.
Magic lives inside of the gaps.
When we shift gears into new ways of thinking and behaving, we turn repetitive cycles into evolving spirals.
As our patterns shapeshift, we raise our frequency and our DNA evolves.
We become adept at spotting, surfing, and collaborating with the GAPS.
Our minds rewire and help us behave in alignment with the true purpose of our emotions and purified desires, without distortion: to create more remembrance and reconnection to ourselves, others, and the universe…healing the primal wound of separation.
The Siddhi of Silence represents a constant, infinite gap: singular, pure, unified consciousness.
Here, silence is not about the absence of sound.
It represents the absence of THINKING.
Our perception shifts to the solar plexus and we transcend the need for limited mental thinking.
Instead of thinking, we are thought through by consciousness itself.
In the ever-expansive silence of pure consciousness, there are no behavior patterns or cycles, no wounds to heal, no desires to drive our actions, and no thoughts to think.
For your contemplation:
What is a behavior pattern that no longer serves you? How might you create more awareness around this pattern through contemplation?
How do you handle the GAPS? Avoidance? Numbing? Distraction? Fixing?
How might you create more space for allowing magic to emerge from the gaps?
