Welp, this one is a doozy!
The 39th Gene Key is part of the Codon Ring of Seeking (Gene Keys: 15, 39, 52, 53, 54, 58), which is all about the PRESSURE we feel and create as humans.
This pressure is an evolutionary force.
It’s itchy and uncomfortable.
It makes us move.
Sometimes forward. Sometimes backward. Sometimes in repetitive patterns.
At the Shadow frequency, this pressure creates a ton of stress and fear and violence.
It drains our adrenals and keeps us in survival mode.
It urges us to strive for material wealth and external measures of “success”.
It pushes us to prioritize short-term gains rooted in a false version of scarcity and efficiency.
It drives us to action and DOING because productivity and “progress” seem safer than a slower, more intentional approach.
Through the lens of the 39th Gene Key, we contemplate the Shadow of Provocation.
Here, we can observe the cycles of the provoker and the provoked.
To be provocative (reactive state) or to be trapped and stuck (repressive state).
The unconscious pressure humans feel either comes out:
in fiery fits and bursts: provoking others, inciting conflict and violence, doing harm and causing pain, saying things in a less-than-lovely tone of voice
as pent-up stuckness: feelings of inertia, uncomfortable inability to create or share ideas, sinking into a fatigued state of burnout, hesitation to use your voice
What’s underneath this Shadow energy?
The fear and pain that we will lose or that we have already lost our individual freedom.
Discovering the beautiful Gift of Dynamism hidden inside this Shadow of Provocation requires that we:
acknowledge and take responsibility for the harm our “provoking” has caused ourselves, others, and the world
share our creative energy and ideas with the world in a way that SERVES
The energy of this Gift is literally dynamic.
It is the great, unending well of creative lifeforce energy that resides inside of each of us.
That flowing energetic force that is our birthright as humans.
It’s that natural genius that we all exude as children.
We begin to forget it in adolescence…and for many of us, by the time we reach adulthood, we cannot even remember it existed at all.
This Dynamism is our innate talent as humans to co-create with life.
Not to control it.
Not to steer it in the direction of our choosing.
Not to speed up the timeline.
Not to manipulate desired outcomes.
To simply recognize that we are born as dynamic creators, as stewards.
Each human an individual cell inside the body of the universe.
Here to listen and respond.
By creating within the greater flow of life.
Recognizing our gifts of creation — our innate Dynamism — we come to the now-familiar milestone along our path (familiar if you’ve been contemplating the Gene Keys with me!)…
…the brilliant and terrifying choice to continue identifying with the glorious and hardwon Gifts that we’ve unlocked and mastered…
…or, the choice to release our identification with these Gifts and die back into consciousness itself, this time through the Siddhi of Liberation.
Here, there is no chance of being blocked, trapped, or losing our sense of personal freedom.
Here, there is no need to provoke, whether through pain or creative expression, though our words and ways of being in this state may indeed provoke others!
Here, there is no conditioning, and therefore, nothing to be liberated from.
There is only Liberation.
Being released from all self-identification.
Being unf*ckwithable — there is nothing you can take personally here and absolutely no emotional turbulence!
Being in the fertile field of emptiness and availability.
Being a channel for truth and pure consciousness.
Prompts for contemplating the 39th Gene Key:
What does it feel like in my body when I provoke another person, intentionally or unintentionally?
What does it feel like in my body when I am provoked or when I take something personally?
When I feel under pressure, how does this impact my breathing patterns?
How might I create more pauses before reacting to deepen my breath and slow down?
Where in my life am I pushing or forcing instead of trusting the flow of life?
What is one thing I can do this week to connect with my inner creator and practice releasing my dynamic energy?
