KINTSUGI: Gene Key 7 Playlist & Visualization
Contemplating the 7th Gene Key: Division, Guidance, Virtue
Wikipedia: Kintsugi (金継ぎ, "golden joinery"), also known as kintsukuroi (金繕い, "golden repair"), is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise.
Inside every Gene Key, there are so many dynamics to explore and contemplate.
In the 7th Gene Key, we explore the Shadow of Division, the Gift of Guidance, and the Siddhi of Virtue.
The shadow dynamic of DIVISION highlights the nature of our separation and duality in this material reality.
In particular, we see how leaders behave in this dynamic: hierarchy, power, dominance, force, and control. Leaders that have control and power will do whatever they can to keep hold of it.
We end up with forceful, authoritative leadership…and also a lot of “hidden” leaders who repress their abilities and become resentful and bitter when they are not recognized by others.
This alpha leadership requires submission and followers, which means that people seek authority and answers outside of themselves. People lose connection to their inner guidance and wisdom, and their discernment skills wane. This leads to a lot of manipulation!
When we begin to reconnect to our inner wisdom, create boundaries that support our inner authority and discernment, and recognize ourselves as leaders, a new type of leadership emerges: GUIDANCE.
Guidance requires empathy, deep listening, empowerment of others, two-way communication, support, and an orientation of service.
By guiding others instead of asserting our own personal agenda upon them, we create more autonomy and sovereignty. Division lessens as leaders facilitate the energy of groups, creating a form of collective leadership.
With the divine gift of VIRTUE, we recognize the ultimate flowering of collective leadership as a purely natural state of humans living at their fullest expression.
When each of us is fully expressed, being our truest selves, being and sharing our unique gifts with the world — this is the flowering of virtue.
